So does my cat. He stretches out and demands belly rubs. It’s kinda sorta awesome.

Also, yes, that is a harness. He's learning how to go outside on walks.

Mine sometimes does that if I go to the car and remember I’ve left something. “8 hours felt like 30 seconds, mom! SO GLAD YOU’RE HOME!! Wait you’re leaving again?!?”

Oh yes, the nutso greyhound goes berserk in either case. And then tries to steal something that you are carrying, or grab your hand in her mouth and lead you to the couch. Coy one, that.

If you want another observation. When there is just you and puppy in the house with no distractions and she’s looking at you. Let out an as real yawn as you can. 80% of dogs will yawn also when their owners yawn, but not for a stranger.
